Richard is a founding Director of Validus Advisory Group and has worked in the Financial Services Industry for over 15 years. In that time Richard has acquired extensive experience in the corporate advisory sector specialising in areas such merger’s & acquisition’s, corporate finance, governance and business consulting.
Richard was employed at one of Sydney’s boutique stockbroker firms where he liaised with private clients and advised them on upcoming transactions such as IPO’s, RTO’s or capital raisings. He then departed to a second tier accounting firm where he initially lead the corporate finance division and succeeded in delivering above budget three years in a row before moving across to the mergers & acquisitions division.
Since the GFC, Richard has been consulting to the mining, energy & agricultural sectors providing companies with advice on M&A activity, finance options and structuring. Richard has worked with both stock exchange listed companies and unlisted companies that are looking to list, expand or merge.
